Ufrianne Zidair
Looks like she has her shit together, but does not
If you have any questions about anything at all regarding Ufri or my rules or anything like that, do not hesitate to DM me! (if we are mutuals)
I know I do not have to have this page, especially since I am not here to mainly/just ship in the first place, but I find this page still pretty important. Why? In my experience, this is how a lot of RP drama starts. Shipping.
I do have preferred/favored ships, but that does not mean I will want to immediately ship if you RP that character. For example, I really adore Ufri/Aymeric, given the development I have for it and whatnot. (If you wanna hear about how a dumb joke became one of Ufri's canon ships just DM me sometime and I'll never shut up.) However, this does not mean I'm going to demand a ship from the first Aymeric I interact with or even try to make it seem that way. If I ever do, I apologize, but I don't demand ships right off the bat. I also care and love Aymeric a lot, so it's a treat to write with one if I ever get the opportunity. (As an example, of course, Ufri has a few other ships I've thought about from in-game.)I'm a slut lover of slowburn. Because with someone like Ufri? She has loved, she has lost, and they were not all even romantic. A lot were family and flat out people she's cared about, whether it's in-game or from stuff I wrote about her. She does not dive headfirst into relationships. A lot of the time they have to be given time, especially if the person is not really showing interest in her at first. If it's a mutual liking, it may happen sooner, but she'd still be very tentative until something gives her that courage. So, yeah, I don't rush things. I try not to. I get some complaints for being slow, but if that's not your kind of onion then we can just be friends!Even if Ufri is shipped in a verse where she cannot ship with anyone else, you can still talk to her. Shipped =/= No friendships + others. I feel like I need to say this because I've run into this often for people who singleship. People suddenly stop interacting with them when they're shipped. It's sad. Please do not ask for cheating plots or anything relative to that. I don't find that cute. I don't like it for ships. Not the ones I RP.Discuss with me if there's anything pertaining to jealousy. Because I am...a bit delicate about plots like those for very personal reasons I do not want to get into. Just please talk it out with me first or ask if I'm comfortable at all if whoever Ufri ships with is okay to like. Act jealous at times. (I hope this makes sense ;;;)If I do not want to ship with you, please do not harass me about it. Please just don't. Not everyone wants to ship, sometimes it won't "click" with the other person, and everyone should feel comfortable in having the ability to say "no" to a potential ship without someone freaking out/throwing a fit.Chemistry is key, but it's best to ask me, because you never know if only one person is feeling it and the other isn't. I'll admit I'm not...an expert on romance all the time or even much in the first place? I can't even tell when/if someone is flirting with me. I don't always understand how romantic cues work. I sure am not always aware when seeing how someone has a crush on someone else in a video game or something until someone actually tells me! Don't be afraid to even ask me if you wanna plan something out to get a potential ship rolling, or even ask if it's okay for a character to give Ufri something. I dunno! I just like to make sure I understand other people's intentions in the romo department especially. ;;;If there is something you do not like about the way our ship is going, please, PLEASE tell me. I won't get into it much, but once upon a time (recently) someone decided to rant to a friend of mine about how dissatisfied they were with our ship. I found out without meaning to, and things didn't end well. So, please talk to me about these kind of things. I assure you we can work something out.Curious that your character may have a chance to ship with Ufri or you want to give it a go? Do not hesitate to ask/talk to me about it! It's always up for discussion, even if may not be an immediate ship. I'm pretty open to different kinds, depending on certain factors, and won't be judgy if you think there is potential there (in say, like...protagonist/antagonist ships because some can work out and I'm a fan, y'all).Ask me before shipping? Maybe. I am a bit unsure. Because honestly? Sometimes, if you ask me before we've interacted or we've barely started interacting, I'm not sure. Sometimes things don't click for me on like "Oh, these two should totally be together!" until later, at times. I still appreciate being asked anyway so we can decide where to go from there, if we do head in that direction. So, because Ufri is poly... I just want to say if your character is monagamous and is not okay with Ufri having more than one partner, then there is a possibility she'll just stay with said person. To be honest, I do not want too many poly ships anyway because it'll become too much for me and likely overwhelming. But if your character is also poly and we're shipping, we can likely work something out. There just has to be limits set for me.
(This may be a constant WIP as you never know to what I'll change or alter over time, especially with this page.)
I'm just gonna give a general one that everyone knows, but I'll say it anyway. IC =/= OOC. If Ufri ever says something mean IC, it doesn't mean I hold the same opinion. Some things she does or says does not mean the writer agrees. It is just RP, and it isn't meant to have characters offend writers behind those characters. Anyways -
1. Communication is key. In the past, this has given me the most problems. I am sorry, but I cannot read a person's mind, and online especially it is hard to tell what someone means when they say something most of the time. It isn't always easy to interpret text. If you have a problem with me or something you would like to discuss with me, please DM me, do not post it publicly or subtweet. It gives me a major anxiety attack when someone does that based on past experiences, and 9/10 always lead to drama with other people getting involved who should not have been involved in the first place. I recently dealt with this a lot with a past RP fandom and do not want a repeat of it in another. I know confrontation can be scary, but I swear I will have an open mind and be willing to talk things through.
2. Currently: I am caught up in FFXIV up to 4.4. Spoilers can and will happen on this account. I try to be careful, given I have a few friends who follow me I know are still in the beginning of Heavensward, but otherwise not that much. Though, sometimes it IS important to know if you want us to do a planned thread, given certain events happen depending on which part. So it's best to discuss timelines with me whenever you want to plan!
3. Give me a day or two to follow back. I have social anxiety, so sometimes I get nervous in following someone back. I have also been doing RP for about 12 years, so I have become jaded and slightly paranoid, to be blunt. I am semi-selective, but usually I follow almost everyone that follows me back. If your account is a real one I do not know (you're not a friend or acquaintance of mine) or you basically post porn or something, I will not follow back most likely. I'm sorry!
4. Multiverse has its limits. I do not know every single fandom that a RP account happens to RP for or come from. But if I choose to follow you back, it means I am willing to give it a go.
5. Ufri's own verses, however, do not need to be. I usually go by my default canon with her for RP, yes, but if you ever want to switch things up for a certain RP verse or something of the like, I am absolutely willing to discuss that with you! And some things are definitely not set in stone for certain relationships, believe me. (For example, just because Thancred & Ufri fooled around and he later fell for her and/or they had a kid, this does not have to be the absolute canon with another Thancred I interact with. I typically approach any Thancreds not my friends like they're just friends anyway, unless you want to do anything different. Same for others Ufri has certain relationships with.)
6. Mun is 21+, but it doesn't mean the content I post is. I usually try and keep things pretty SFW. Anytime I post anything NSFW, it's usually in text form. But do not mistake this as me being willing to RP lewd or smut. I won't write any of that on this account. Hint that it happened? Sure. But I cannot full-on write it.
7. AU, canon-divergent, different verses, etc. Are absolutely okay! We can discuss things beforehand or I may want to discuss it with you beforehand. I know it may seem like I'm overthinking, especially if it's a short exchange, but I like to try and not mess up someone's verse or something like that if at all possible.
8. I am and will always be multiship + poly for this account. (I might get more into this with its own separate page, but.) Ufrianne Zidair is absolutely poly. I just don't like pointing it out so much because of the stereotypes with it. As an example, one verse currently has her dating 3 other people at once. They are not separate ships; Ufri is dating them all at once and it is the kind where they are all dating each other (except for 2 out of the entire 4). If I ever wanted to do another set of ship(s), I strongly prefer talking it out with the partner(s) involved. Again, communication is key! And if you are singleship and you sense we have chemistry, I will respectfully decline you anyway, as I am not comfortable shipping with someone who is singleship when I am not.
9. But I am not here for just shipping whatsoever. I strongly prefer creating stories and other kinds of relationships with others first. If Ufri ever seems flirty, that's just part of who she is a lot of the time. If she was trying to make a move, I'd explicitly point out in the writing that it's exactly what she's doing. But anyway, I love building stories, voring the lore, and will definitely cherish friendships and acquaintances and even enemies! I like to think they add some development for both partners and their characters, depending on what type it is.
10. Please do not rush me for replies. If it's been more than three days or so, poke me. But if it has only been a day or so, do not ask me when I will reply. Sometimes I have muse for one thread more than another. Please do not think I am ignoring you, because I am not. Being pestered to finish or passive aggressively (it's happened) told to do so puts me off from getting to your reply.
11. Same as rule 10, but also for ships. I can easily get romo-repulsed sometimes by shippy stuff. It has nothing to do with you. It's absolutely me. I will still get to those replies, but if I'm being pushed or am spammed with more shippy stuff, I will not reply to you fast at all. (But please do come to me if you are unhappy with something about the ship. You never know, maybe I can change something to make the both of us happy.)
12. Mirrors detail. Says so right there. If you give me a one tweet reply, then I'll do the same so you aren't presurred to reply to 35262 tweets. I give what I get (and only sometimes go a teensy bit overboard).
13. Please be patient for replies. This should be a given anyways considering this is mainly an FFXIV account. Yes, I play online. Yes, you can ask me which server I'm on if we follow each other and have chatted a little bit. But, yes, sometimes I do not reply because I am busy interacting with my friends. And if I ever give you half of a reply and do not continue until 30 mins or so later, that is because queue popped for an instance! But I am also a college student, so some days I may truly be scarce with little to nothing because of my classes.
14. My DMs are open for plotting/venting/discussing things. I know what it's like to need someone to talk to, so I'm here if someone needs that. But I will say I usually expect my DMs for RPs. I am not unfamiliar with DM RPs, so we can do that too, just tell me and we can work something out.
15. Please don't be intimidated by me. My anxiety is just yelling at me to say this, so I am! Like I said, I've been in RP for 12 years. Just because I may look super "fancy" to someone, it does not mean you cannot approach me for RPs or even just some small talk from time to time. And really I just want to write/make stories and maybe some friends along the way. I really love FFXIV's story and how happy it's made me, so...yes! Please do not be afraid to approach me. Apologies in advance for being a socially anxious being if we ever converse!
16. To kinda add to that... Anything I post? You're free to answer to. I try to make it obvious when I'm indirecting someone (either with a name or a Quote RT), but yeah! I typically post things for Ufri to say just for the sake of posting, but I don't mind if others respond to it.

Ufri came from a family that, surprisingly, didn’t follow the stereotype made for Duskwights, which was being thieves and living in caves or caverns. Her family made a name for themselves in Gridania instead within a gigantic mansion—separate from a place such as Haukke Manor—within the Shroud. Back then, she was known as Astreonne Searuet, one of three daughters of the Searuet family. She and her twin sister, Eauzie, weren’t expected at first. Their mother was expecting just one child to add to their growing family, but later after a “mistake,” twins were actually expected instead.
As Ufri grew up, though, she began to see that her family—or at least her mother—viewed her as a mistake. Meanwhile, Eauzie was the one who was expected and accepted into the family. Eauzie was a prodigy in the ways of magic, politics, becoming a master of manipulation and other talents revered in their family. As for Ufri, she was struggling, becoming her sister's shadow. Even sometimes had to be, for Eauzie would be punished for not excelling past Ufri in many subjects, such as magic. Ufri didn’t understand why manipulation was needed or why her family could be so...cruel.
Her oldest brother, Cielleux, was the only one within the family who would reassure her that she was fine just the way she was, but it wasn’t always enough. Her aunt, Arsulu, knew what it was like to be the odd one out of the family, and so she entrusted Ufri a special stone, because while Ufri may struggle with magic when trying to separate black and white, something else could be done if they were used together. (As to how Arsulu got her hands on that particular stone…assume what you like.)
For a while, Ufri was showing promise. Her parents were finally starting to notice her and not have her feel like an outcast, the black sheep of the family. Eauzie automatically became jealous and worked twice as hard in her lessons, but it was something Ufri could easily live with. Her mom did not punish Eauzie as badly anymore.
Unfortunately, this peaceful and welcoming period could not last forever for Ufri.
She went out riding with Cielleux and others belonging to their house one day. Ufri was intent on hunting something down or helping out to prove she wouldn’t be useless. So intent was she on hunting down one beast, that she did not realize she was heading straight into an ambush. One moment she was riding fast on her chocobo, and the next she found herself knocked down and about to be killed. The Searuets had no shortage of enemies, and a few were ready to kill Ufri for being a Searuet.
Luckily, Cielleux wasn’t too far behind when Ufri ran off, so he caught up quickly to defend her. However, Ufri barely knew how to defend herself, she was scared, and there were many to have them easily outnumbered. During the battle, with a few dead but still plenty standing, Cielleux takes a fatal blow from a poisoned arrow meant for Ufri. The others that came along with them finally arrive to take out the rest of the killers. Ufri collapses to her knees as they attack, trying and failing to heal Cielleux to save him, crying hard and loud when he takes his last breath after whispering his last words to her.
When she comes back home with the other workers to speak of what’s happened, her parents are absolutely distraught, along with the rest of the family. The moment Ufri begins to apologize, her mother snaps to begin the reveal of her true colors exclusively for Ufrianne.
To this day, she remembers clearly the first monster she’s truly had to face and fight against. She would continue to fight this monster from that day forward.
Her mother’s lips form a dangerous, growling sneer, and her nails dig deep into Ufri’s arms when she’s shaken and demanded to just shut up, go to the basement, and stay there for the rest of the day. Ufri’s been there a few times in the past, knowing it’s a special place for her to be put in when she’s done something especially bad, and she’s been in there far more than anyone else has in the house. When she thinks on it now, she believes that place was made especially for her and nobody else. Her own prison within a bigger prison. Of course, she fought, which wasn’t wise. It prolonged her stay in there, and it was one of the only few times Eauzie was there for her in her time of need while she cried all day and night. She ended up staying there for a couple of days before finally being released.
After Cielleux’s death, no one wanted to speak of him. All his pictures around the house were taken down; it was as if he had never existed. Yet, for Ufri, he existed all the time, for she was the reason he was dead. Her family never let her forget it, and they never would. At first, it was stifling, and Ufri questioned what it would be like if she never existed within her family in the first place. However, she knew Cielleux wouldn’t want that for her, and she bothered to live on. It only got a bit easier, but it was still unbearable.
Given her family’s reputation with certain Imperials of the Garlean Empire, Ufri and her family take a vacation to Kugane at some point. While wandering around, curious about this sweet dessert called dango, she meets a Miqo’te boy who then takes it upon himself to order some dango for them both. He doesn’t hesitate to woo her, commenting on her beauty and charm and whatever else he can think of to fluster her with. She discovers his name is M’mhizu, a member of the M tribe, but he was an adventurer with his travels taking him to Kugane. This, he now believed, was to be fate, so that he and Ufri could meet.
When asked as to how he was able to even travel to Hingashi, M'mhizu only shrugged and gave his most charming smile. Ufri stopped asking afterwards.
Ufri hadn’t been happy in an incredibly long time, and since her family was so busy with other affairs, she wasn’t constantly scrutinized. There was a time to be free, and she spent almost every second of every day with M’mhizu as much as she could, having them begin a fling. However, it couldn’t last long. The Searuets were meant to leave Kugane to return to Gridania at some point. And, sometime before leaving, Ufri discovered she hadn’t suddenly developed seasickness while in the Far East, but something else.
She was pregnant.
Already she knows how terrible the consequences could be. She’s pregnant by a Miqo’te, when her family has emphasized time and time again for them to marry and fall for Duskwights and only Duskwights. It’s bad enough she’s pregnant so young, but who actually got her pregnant tops it off.
Eventually, Eauzie finds out, and Ufri confides in her that she plans to run away once they’re back in Gridania. Her sister is supportive of the idea, eventually suggesting they run away together. Ufri disagrees, saying its best she goes alone, and that Eauzie has a much better purpose being in their family. Ufri never did. Her sister agrees, wishing her sister the best of luck, and even helps her prepare before leaving Gridania.
And yet, her family finds out anyway the second she’s on the run. It’s discovered her sister betrayed her, and Ufri was eventually made a prisoner in the house until her children would be born. She was carefully watched until she finally gave birth to twin Miqo’te girls, and the second it was discovered they both held Miqo’te features, they were immediately taken away from Ufri before she could hold them or see them. She cried day and night, with no one there to comfort her.
This became the straw that broke the camel’s back for Ufri, as well as one of her servants who helped with the birth. A lot of careful preparation was made in her plan to escape for good. Ufri started archery lessons by this point aside from her red mage lessons, and after about a year or two, she enacted her escape from her family with the help of said servant and fled Gridania to Limsa Lominsa—as a runaway bride, no less. Her name was no longer Astreonne Searuet and would never be again; it was now Ufrianne Zidair.
She began a singing career in Limsa, trying to make a living since she didn’t feel that confident in her archery lessons yet to help people. That’s how her aunt Arsulu found her, coming to warn her that her family is adamant on finding her, and that her voice can get her killed, if not captured. And so, without warning, Arsulu enacts a spell to take Ufri’s voice from her, and not just her singing voice either. She takes it for her own, leaving Ufri mute, besides angry that her aunt did that without even asking or looking remorseful about it.
With her singing career brought to a harsh, abrupt halt, Ufri manages to find some connections with what gil she has stored to make her way to Thanalan. She does her best to improve in combat, despite she is well aware the archer’s guild exists in Gridania and not Ul’dah, so it’s self-taught with her bow. Along the way, she bumps into an older Miqo’te by the name of X’mhati. This happens when she has herself overwhelmed by an adamantoise when she shouldn’t have even gotten anywhere near it, and he saves her from getting killed or hurt. X’mhati comments that she looks a little lost. And then, without even asking past what her name was and what she was doing here, he invites her over for dinner. In conversation, he casually adds one of his kids is planning to cook for everyone tonight and won’t mind adding one more.
It’s then Ufrianne finds herself become comfortable with X’mhati’s family, especially when one immediately asked, “Dad, did you adopt another one?” the second Ufri walked through the door to eat dinner with them. They become, by far, a much better family to Ufri than her own actual family ever was. Considering a few of them are decent archers, they help Ufri improve on her archery.
Despite what she’s endured, for now, life is pleasant for Ufri in getting to know X’mhati’s family and becoming one of the family herself—becoming stronger and stronger every day.
But then Dalamud happens.
(IDK how to do sub bullets on this damn site so this is bullet point central mess)
For some reason Ufri’s dumbass goes back to Gridania, thinking if she hides in plain sight her family won’t find herShe at least looks far different than what she used to be in the past and even is a little taller, besides very handy with a bowOne noticeable point is short hair. The one thing her family did love about her was the long hair, so the second she left them, she's tried to keep it short or in an updo, not liking it grow long (yet it tries to every damn time)Meets a Miqo’te boy named M’ocha along the wayThey take a liking to each other, X’mhati “unintentionally” adopts him tooIt’s friendship adventuringAlso bumps into a smol Xaela named CaraQuite a few people get bumped into because I like mentioning other WoLs my friends made OKAYBesides the fact Ufri basically has her own lil party of WoLs tbh they're all greatLiterally almost the second she and Thancred meet they get along extremely well to the point they bangWhen she eventually meets Cid this also eventually happens COUGHSUfri is pretty much consistently all “WHAT” throughout the entirety of LegacyThis absolutely reflects on the musings of the writer when reading bits and pieces of what happened in Legacy/1.0Somehow her family doesn’t find her as she’s adventuring, but what she doesn’t know is along the way X’mhati has been doing everything possible to protect her from being foundTHE BATTLE OF CARTENEAU IS ONE GOTDAMN MESSLouisoux teleports (almost, in my canon) everyone away from the battlefield, but for Ufri and X’mhati they have a super awful landingBonus: Ufri & X’mhati are already heavily injuredUfri has a head injury bad enough that she gets amnesia; she barely even remembers the name she now uses as opposed to her childhood nameX’mhati barely manages to take her to safety while injured himself, using what little healing magic he knows personally (which isn’t much)Ufri has a lot of scars from Carteneau hidden across her body (when she already has some from her own family before she ran away)She loses an eye, and there’s a visible scar on her face to prove thatIt’s a tough time recovering, trying to get her memory back, and finding others who were lost along the way.X’mhati’s extremely worried about his family, so they immediately try to look for themSome of the family is reunited, but it takes a while finding each other and where they ended up
Uh, almost everything is the same, there’s just a few changes I’m gonna mentionUfri still has amnesia when she finally decides to travel to Gridania (AGAIN), not caring if her family tries to look for her (she remembers them by this point), because she can stand her ground and defend herself properlyShe left her son Ciel behind to get back to adventuring, because being a parent just wasn’t working. She felt like she was doing nothing but a terrible job and it’s hard to deal with her amnesia, so she’s also hoping traveling will help her remember(Canon character may be Ciel’s dad COUGHS oops)Yeah she turned out to be pregnant while the Battle of Carteneau was happening but still had a safe birthIt’s Cid’s btw (This can change because it's RP, but...ya know. Two canon chars have poor pull out game Change My Mind™)Some WoLs she met before the Calamity might not be remembered, depending on what canon you want. Either way my canon definitely is Ufri knows other WoLs and isn’t the only one for sure(for example) Looks right through her friend M’ocha Tia when she reunites with him; she doesn’t remember him; he is also a WoLDoes remember select people, but has a painful time when they don’t remember her (aka “Marques”)Very slowly Ufri becomes hopeful, a bit more trusting of people, and gains more pieces of her empty memory on who everyone is and what happened in the time she doesn’t rememberHer family bugs her somewhere in ARR for something that, undoubtedly, makes Ufri mad as hellWows Ser Aymeric with a bit of her political/witty knowledge which sort of causes them to have a Moment™ while Alphinaud does his Alph Thing™ (slamming tables, being an intellectual)Ufri also glares at Estinien because BITCH, I WHOOPED YOUR BITTER ASS TO THE CURB AS A DRAGOON MAKE NO MISTAKE I’D DO IT ALL AGAIN—Is gay for Lucia, like we all are—By the end of ARR, Ufri discovers she’s pregnant (again) and was about to tell Thancred the father but—everything happens so muchAgain, I said TWO canon characters have poor pull-out game Change My Mind™
Ufri slowly starts to revert, believing almost everyone has incentive than compassion to do what they do and want to do nothing but backstab her after the shitfest that was Ul’dah’s banquetAll the bad shit happens at banquets/dinners, so she should’ve known in the first placeHer (once) blooming optimistic way of thinking slowly becomes cynical againQuestions if she should leave the Scions or not, because they may be dead anywayStrongly believes they are dead but says nothing to the othersDoes not participate in The Vault (the instanced dungeon) in canon; she decides to show up uninvited to help save [redacted] even if it isn't 100% safe for her to do soThis is also the expansion where she discovers her Ishgardian heritage, which was never truly Gridanian to begin with...fun!!!(DEFINITE MAJOR SPOILER HERE FOR HEAVENSWARD!!! CHARACTER DEATH WARNING!!! READ!!! AT!!! YOUR!!! OWN!!! RISK!!!)Haurchefant's death has her endure an episode, remembering when Cielleux stood in the way and took the deathly blow for her insteadIt's a very, very bad episodeShe almost crumbles right there and then when Edmont doesIt's...just so bad. The end. While also trying to deal with her pregnancy, this is when her twin kiddos find her, telling her who they are and how long it took them to find her and yada yadaOne twin is very eager to meet her while the other is definitely notTheir names are Noemie (the one who's eager) and Acelienne (the one who isn't)Eventually they get Miqo’te M tribe names, to feel includedUfri can’t tell them about their dad because she just remembers him as Zoo BoyPuts M’ocha on edge since she does remember he’s from the M tribe…oh boyTo make it even better, Ufri's family definitely decides to bother her then, starting with her mother (A VERY, VERY BAD VISIT HAPPENS)Then Eauzie pops up—in a dramatic flourish—and tries to coax Ufri into listening to their mother for whatever shit she's got planned, which of course goes as well as expected…horriblyUfri definitely doesn't trust her twin after the shit that's happened why would she evenAnd yet they sort of build something new together when it comes to bonding and trusting each other, but Ufri is definitely not going to pretend everything is just fine after what Eauzie's done to her. But still, she's tired, and some bitterness takes too much effort to hold ontoJust when Ufri thinks things might become better between them, Eauzie dies in her arms after a mission turns sourOne (or more) of her brothers may mess with her also before and/or after this happens(ANOTHER SPOILER SERIOUSLY THIS IS LIKE ONE OF THE BIG ONES OF THE GAME YOU GET AN ANSWER TO AFTER THE CLUSTERFUCK THAT WAS ARR'S ENDING. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!)Considering her history with people freely manipulating her and tricking her and the like, she doesn't trust Urianger for the longest time after she discovers what he was hidingShe does understand where he's coming from, but she just can't condone it. He lied to her, to all the Scions, and it just puts her on edge about how he could have easily betrayed them for real and may not be above that as time goes by. It's just how she thinks(ANOTHER MAJOR SPOILER ON ANOTHER CHARACTER DEATH!!!)Papalymo sacrificing his life to try and stop the primal from forming and being brought to life has Ufri endure yet another episode—this time remembering Louisoux with BahamutSo, she definitely tried to stay only for that damn Lala to blast her the fuck offGives birth in the middle of Heavensward? What is time.Everyone yells at her when she immediately goes back onto the battlefield like nothing happened a few days laterListen, I never said she was the best parentThe good news is she kinda gets put in the background for another WoL to take over for awhile
Let the WoL have a fucking restAlso labeled: Ufri Has Had Enough of Your ShitGonna bluntly say right now it's already bad because Ufri's breastfeeding It Ain't NiceJust about loses it when Zenos slams X'mhati into the fuckin ground when he was trying to defend some citizens of Rhalgr's Reach as it was practically massacredHe's very much become a father figure to her and basically more of a parent to her than her parents ever were and just about loses it when she sees him all bloody and has some flashbacks to the aftermath of Carteneau, despite the situations are reversedThe boy she once knew, M'mhizu, happened to become a member of the Resistance in Gyr Abania and it's so unexpected Ufri doesn't have time to hide herselfIs related to M’ocha, much to M’ocha’s glee (sort of)Gotta say even beforehand though Noemie at least calls M’ocha her uncle because you never know they could be related relatedAcelienne is no fun and does not do that only broods after M’ocha and learns how to be a ninja from him when she’s tired of being a lancerM'ocha does his best trying to make this reunion with M’mhizu easier for her, what a sweet boyIt's...a timeScreams on her way to Kugane because Bittersweet Mem(e)ories™Major body dysphoria, first off, because of the fact she's breastfeeding, and then the Oroniri (plus That Other One) are the biggest asshole Xaela alive, according to UfriIf she gets called a woman when that's not what her Genderfluid Ass is feeling One More Fucking Time—Basically, the entirety of the Nadaam was a blessingMagnai can eat shitSometime during her aunt taunts her (again, to be honest) and basically gives her an ultimatumThis becomes a dungeon where 3-4 variants of the stinky aunt are faced"LOL THIS ISN'T EVEN MY FINAL FORM"A lot of em are basically AOE hellActually what would be super annoying is completing the dungeon, unlocking a trial right after, and having THAT be terrible with cutscenes added to itThroughout the place Ufri's singing is heard, to further taunt her and piss her offFinally, Ufri has to kill her aunt, because it's the only way to get her voice back (she, the victim, killing the one who stole her voice in the first place)While her aunt eventually became awful to her as well, Ufri doesn't enjoy killing her, because it reminds her of something someone said to her (AGAIN)"Death always follows you like a ghost to your very doorstep, haunting you for eternity. It happens around you, but never to you. Must be nice, to make so many suffer for your desires!"Her twins really enjoy “bothering” Lord Hien (he claims they’re not a bother and Ufri now thinks he’s just too damn sweet for his own good)While others may have their doubts about Lyse and her leadership, Ufri supports her all the damn way with no faltering or doubt(DEFINITE 4.2 SPOILERS COMING IN)Was not shocked to discover Asahi was a Fake™ she just bothered to put up with it because everyone was stupid fooled enough to fall for itHer family is worse than you, Asahi, get in fuckin line32525 years later we add 4.3 stuff hhh (READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!)First of all, this calls for a major hair changeIn-game her hairstyle is much like Y'shtola's, when I'm not entirely sure on that since Ufri cut her hair as a very rash decision after what happenedJandeleine sure was screaming againThe similarities and parallels between her and Yotsuyu spoke massive volumes to her. Ufri comes to realize she could have easily become like Yotsuyu, given their similar backgrounds, and it's a very haunting thought that resonates with her deeplySo with the hair thing: She did it because she was trying to cut away another part of herself (when that NEVER works but that's just my onion)After a Certain Trial, Ufri experiences another episode because this entire game fucking hates her which is why she's simply "watching" the events unfold before her after said trialIt's so bad she's reminded of her sister's recent death which leads her to comparing herself with Yotsuyu and blah de blahThat line or w/e containing "The wicked witch of Doma" was NOT helpfulShe is Definitely not okay but of course she's pretending to be when some of the others can see she's crumbling at the edgesThe entire situation with Yotsuyu in general definitely was triggering for her to the point she's, for example, dug her own nails so deep and so hard into her skin she started bleeding just so she wouldn't react and ruin anything, such as the negotiations(DIES AS I ADD 4.4 SPOILERS)First of all, Ufri gets gayer for Y'shtola. The end—Tries to resist tackle hugging Thancred in relief that he's returned from being gone for Twelve knows how longSense Alisaie's distress and relates to it, in a sense, extremely well. But Noemie has her covered mainly on caring for AlisaieWhen Lyse pointed that out Ufri needed her to STFU to not ruin things jfc Lyse have some tactSuzaku and Ufri form a band and that's how this patch ends obviously—(KIDDING. I wish)The Mist Dragon can go fuck itself honestly Ufri will forever have that place engraved in her memoryGets a bit too excited when spotting Aymeric for the alliance meeting and ignores the look she gets from Hien (AND Thancred, jeez)As gay not heterosexual Aymeric's shout was for Thancred, Ufri's shout was almost screaming anguish for Thancred as he fell after having that raging headache and disembodied voice speak. She tried to shake him awake, even whispering, "Please come back to me..."As much as she tried to listen to Kan-E-Senna speak about what happened, it was hard to fully listen, especially when being reminded of the time Thancred was possessed by Lahabrea and needed a long time to recover after. Ufri feels like she's losing him all over again, and this time is much worse because she can't use arrows or her rapier or any other weapon to take down whatever's ailing him. It's all just so...bizarreAnd then pop goes the weasel for Y'shtola and Urianger too and Alisaie's cries almost made Ufri absolutely break down then and thereHAVE I NOT SAID FROM THE VERY BEGINNING OF STORMBLOOD TO LET THE WOL FUCKING REST? LET UFRI GET A GOTDAMN BREAK, YOSHI-P.She's trying to be strong for Alisaie but to be honest she's breaking inside. It feels like Heavensward all over again but far, far worse. She knows where her friends are (physically), but she has no way of getting to them or how to help at allHer spirit/hope is kinda on the brink of breaking and I'm sharpening my knife, kupo
